I have lived in Miami for around a decade now and just today, I thoroughly saw the walls at Wynwood. The art was truly mesmerizing, creative and lively. As you walk down the streets in Wynwood you see art in paintings, sculptures, jewelry, and so much more! I went with my family to see the exhibits and I would totally recommend it if you are in the Miami area.
You may be thinking...why are you wearing jackets in Miami? Well, surprisingly, we have been experiencing a cold front. It is nothing compared to literally any other state but to people who live here, it is cold enough for jackets. Sometimes you see the occasional person with a jacket, scarf, and boots when it is 70°F outside.
The weather was absolutely perfect for visiting Wynwood since you need to do a lot of walking. Parking can be a little bit of a hassle but you do have a couple of options such as pay by phone, garages, valet that average around $10-15.
Overall, it took us around 2-3 hours to see the walls and stores that caught our eye. We were attracted to a small bakery in the heart of Wynwood called Zak The Baker since it was quite busy.
I had a croissant with hibiscus iced tea which was pretty good.
