If you are feeling uninspired and need some motivation for certain areas of your life- there is a REALLY good chance that a TED talk was made to help you. I wanted to share with you three talks that changed my way of thinking and helped me learn how to present myself to others.
It really does not matter what career you have, you have to learn how to work well with others. Let's get started!
1. Want to sound like a leader? Start by saying your name right | Laura Sicola
First on the list is Want to sound like a leader? Start by saying your name right by Laura Sicola. She talks about the importance of tone, volume and certainty in your voice when introducing yourself. The most important takeaway she mentions is that if you want to be a leader you have to sound like one and demonstrate vocal executive presence.
2. 7 Ways to Make a Conversation With Anyone | Malavika Varadan
Malavika is an expert on introducing herself to others due to her profession. She will give you the ultimate tips you need to break the ice and make that first conversation. She goes over 7 ways that have worked time after time so you are sure to find one that works for you!
3. How To Skip the Small Talk and Connect With Anyone | Kalina Silverman
I LOVED this one! Kalina was a student at the time she posted a video to youtube about eliminating the usual small talk with strangers and focusing on the important meaningful questions in life instead. She realized how many people resonated with the video and most importantly she knew she was never alone.
