10 Creative Date Ideas

Even though Valentine's Day should not be the only day you celebrate love and friendship....

It is nice to do something extra special that's out of your usual routine. It is pretty common to feel overwhelmed with work that you may not dedicate enough time in building your relationship. I have 10 unique ideas that are sure to be memorable for you and your partner!

1. Recreate your first date

Why not recreate the day where it all started? I find this one to be sooo romantic and it is sure to bring good memories. Whatever the location, this one is sure to be special.

2. Karaoke

I have yet to go to a karaoke place with my boyfriend but I feel like it would be so much fun. If you're shy, you can always sit by and enjoy the good and bad voices (have a good laugh.)

3. Ice Skating

This is fun whether or not you know how to skate (especially if you don't.) I do not know how to skate to save my life. I look like a giraffe drinking water when I try not to fall. LIKE THIS:

Either way, whether you fall or not it is still a fun time with your partner!

4. Comedy Show

Have a good laugh and maybe grab some dinner afterwards!

5. Cook a meal together and get dressed up

Cook your favorite meal or try out a new recipe. Then get dressed up and have a dinner with some music and candles.

6. Get a massage together

7. Restaurant hoping date

Choose three restaurants (new or favorites) pick one for entrees and drinks, one for main courses and one for dessert.

8. Beach bonfire date

Go to the beach, roast some marshmallows and talk about life.

9. Hot air balloon ride

I have yet to try it but it looks so romantic and perfect for pictures.

10. Day of your favorite things

Just like it sounds, start your day with your favorite breakfast, go to a place you both love, make this day filled with stuff you both love!

Oh, my goodness… what an awesome post! I absolutely LOVE the idea of recreating a first date. Oddly, my bf and I met for the very first time in a steakhouse. This is funny because we are both vegetarians, but I didn’t where else to suggest that would be quiet on a Friday night 🙂 Also the hot air balloon ride is ALWAYS on my bucket list of things to do. Thanks for sharing 🙂
